Stirling Hogmanay Events Fund
Local creatives, event organisers, community groups and businesses are being invited to apply for a new fund designed to support the delivery of exciting events and experiences across Stirling this Hogmanay.
Applicants can apply for grants of £250 or £500 to support their event. Stirling’s Hogmanay Events Fund aims to inspire a diverse programme of activity that will bring people together, attract visitors, and create memorable experiences for residents and guests alike. Applications are welcomed from organisations looking to launch brand-new events for Hogmanay, as well as those wishing to enhance existing events with additional elements such as live entertainment, performances, family activities, creative programming, extended opening hours, or unique visitor experiences.
Funding can also be used to help offset delivery costs, enabling organisers and local businesses to keep ticket prices affordable or offer free-to-attend activities wherever possible. The aim is to ensure that everyone can enjoy and participate in Stirling’s festive celebrations.
Funded events will form part of a coordinated Stirling-wide programme, complementing the city’s flagship festive event – Winterlight, and helping to create a packed calendar of activity throughout the festive period. Together, these events will build momentum towards Hogmanay and culminate in the spectacular countdown to midnight, marked by the iconic fireworks display from The National Wallace Monument at The Bells. A dedicated marketing plan will promote all events collectively, with successful applicants benefiting from marketing support from the Stirling Events team as part of the wider Hogmanay programme.
