Gin Experience

Six gins and gin liqueurs, the story of Stirling’s first legal distillery, and a visit to the still room where it all happens.

Your Stirling Distillery tour guide will talk you through the history of the brand, a gruesome look at the history of gin and explain how the founders came to own Stirling’s first legal distillery. Your guide will show you how to make the perfect G&T and tell you some of Stirling City’s most fascinating stories. You will also be given samples of Red Cap, Green Lady and Tropical Triumph liqueurs as well as a dram of their 55% Battle Strength Gin and Gin Blue Line. Your guide will also show you how spirit is made at Stirling Distillery with a talk through the production of gin and a visit into the production room on site.’

Join the Distillery team on the next step of Stirling Distillery’s whisky journey.

Visitors will be welcomed in by their tour guide, taken through a brief history of Stirlingshires rich whisky background and gain an insight into the further progression of Stirling Distillery’s quest to create their very own single malt.

You will enjoy the Distillery’s award-winning new make spirit followed by a selection of four different drams from their Sons of Scotland independent bottling range. Followed by a look and detailed explanation in the production room at Scotlands Smallest Whisky distillery. A truly unique whisky experience.

The Becoming Experience

The Becoming Experience

This experience is hosted by Stirling Distillery co-founder Cameron McCann alongside Hugo McCann, award winning whisky distiller, to guide guests through the nuances of Stirling spirit’s development.

The session will include a look at the history of whisky production in Stirling, a guided tasting of Stirling spirit during maturation, a curated grazing board to complement Stirling spirit, and the opportunity to draw your own take-home sample of our new make spirit directly from the still. Guests will also get to sample the latest Sons of Scotland single malt selections, as well as being recorded in a Founders’ Ledger, marking their place in the story of Stirling’s first modern single malt.

Don’t have time for a full guided experience? Drop in for a mini tasting to sample some of Stirling Distillery’s most popular products. Choose from a whisky, gin or rum experience. Your guide will talk you through the products and then you are free to enjoy your drinks. This experience doesn’t require a booking just pop in. Subject to availability.

Opening times are 11am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sundays.
