Glasgow European Championships 2018 – Cycling Time Trial
Watch Europe’s elite road cyclists weave their way through the streets of Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire and Stirling. The road race is a ‘bunch’ event that takes place over a pre-determined lap or laps with vehicular marshals marking the nose and the tail of a race.
A specialist branch of road racing, time trials pits the riders – one-by-one – against a course of a predetermined length in an against-the-clock test. Time trial events come in a number of different distances where riders try to complete the longest distance in the prescribed time.
Watch the time trial cyclists as they speed through the Stirling village of Strathblane on 12th August.
